Writing short stories is difficult. Nix that. Not difficult. Downright HARD. At least for me it is. Creating a story with fully developing the characters and plot and having a satisfying ending in a few thousand words or less was one challenge I just couldn’t let pass me by, a challenge I thought would help me write tighter scenes and novels.
Sex scenes can also be a tad bit difficult for me to write. So I started out writing short erotic stories. Once I got the feel for the erotic stories, I wanted to switch over to short romances. Love’s Desire is the resulting collection. The majority of the stories have been published previously in one form or another.
Those who purchase my titles Picture Perfect, The Other Realm, or Trapped In Paradise receive a free copy of Love’s Desire. Just let me know and the collection will be sent to you. Email addresses are not harvested, saved, sold… They will be used to send your book and then deleted.
Love’s Desire
A short story collection that captures the essence of first love, love lost, love found and love’s passion… Stories range from highly erotic to sweet romance.
Purchase from Amazon, Barnes & Noble

A few of you have written to me that you don’t have an eReader. I just wanted to let you know that Amazon and Barnes & Noble offer free eReader applications for PC and other devices.

I think I also like the longer stories to flush out the chracters and bring the plot to great conclusion.

I do LOVE a full length novel. That’s where my heart lies. But I think authors should practice short stories to help get the fluff out of their manuscripts.

Alrighty now…..I loved reading these stories, a combination of steamy and romance. A perfect combination, the characters were believable, and had heart. The only complaint, which isn’t really a complaint, is that the stories were short. The way I get into a story makes me want to know everything and then some. Even though I know I am not going to get more, I always sigh when the story is over. With that being said……..great book!

Thank you so much! I’m glad you enjoyed the short stories. They are hard to write because I also want to make them longer. LOL. But I write them as exercises to keep my stories tight. If you limit your wordcount, you don’t get to put in the fluff I see some books have.
Thanks for reaching out. I love to hear from ya…

Whisper Something Sweet is among my top five favourite reads. I really think that the short story Welcome Home has the potential to equal Whisper… If the story was developed into a full fledged novel. The other stories were good but Welcome Home had me wanting more.

Thank you for reaching out Tee. I’m so glad you enjoyed Whisper Something Sweet and Love’s Desire. I have thought about making Welcome Home a full length, I have so much on my plate, and that’s on there also.
Thanks again and have a GREAT weekend
