Back Story
Where to start? Well, I guess the beginning is a nice place (smile). This is what I believe is the second novel I ever wrote. It’s either the second or third, and I wrote it about twenty years ago. I loved the story but knew publishing houses wouldn’t accept my romance novel where the heroine was a thief. This REALLLLY annoyed me because I’d seen big names do this type of thing, but new authors weren’t allowed to do this.
Okay, technically, most authors still aren’t allowed to do this in traditional publishing. What to do, what to do? Self-publish! This is one of the reasons I love self-publishing. Publishing houses have to worry about commercial appeal so attach all sorts of rules on what you can and can’t do. I love the freedom of self-publishing. Granted, I have to pay for editing and such out of my own pocket, but it’s been worth it.
Now the story line itself? I have no idea where I got it from. LOL. I don’t remember. I remember the title of the book came to me first. And I remember wanting a thief to be the heroine. After that, who knows. LOL.
Thanks for your continued support.

Hi Deatri, I’m glad you self-published the story. Some publishing rules make fans miss out on great reads. I will be sure to download Stolen Heart to my Kindle! I’m starting the Write Brothers soon but I already know that I’ll be asking for more. LOL! Love your work!
