If your husband left you to raise you two’s four children on your own, then returned years later, under what circumstances would you take him back?
Things aren’t always as they seem. Gloria Write knows that better than anyone. When the love of her life left her to raise their four sons on her own, that should have been the end of their chance at a happily ever after.
Secrets, abandonment, love, betrayal, lies. When Tex Delgado sets his mind on reclaiming his wife, she fights him every step of the way, but this time he has no intention of walking away.
Print, Kindle, Nook (I suggest reading Sons 4 Sale, Write Brothers series, before this book)
Back Story
When I wrote the first story in the Write Brothers series, I had no idea how much the readers and I would fall in love with Gloria, their mother, and their Uncle Joe. By book two, I knew I had to write her story. By book four the readers were demanding I write her story. If You Only Knew is the first book in my Second Chances women’s fiction series that features lead female characters who are over forty years old. They may not all have a happily ever after, but they will all have unforgettable stories.
Thanks for your continued support!

Good Morning Ms. King-Bey,
I loved your Wright series. Just happened to stumble across Gloria and Tex’s story and pulled an all-nighter to read on my IPad. I’m an avid reader and have probably (make that have) spent a fortune on romance books and now the ebooks. You have a gift for telling stories and
including the details that draw the reader in as if they were watching the story unfold on HD.
I’ve looking forward to your second chance series as I’m a retired 68 year old senior. I’ve always wanted to write starting with my diary as a teenager and writing stories with a pencil before we could afford typewriters and hiding them under my mattress. I’m so proud there are so many black women writing now as I can truly relate to their stories. I have amassed quite a collection of their books. Seems as soon as I discover a new writer I have to read all their books. I’m started with some pretty raw, poorly edited stuff in some cases and watched them morph into great writers.
I’m really proud of you and hope you’ll continue to move forward, encouraging other sisters. I notice that now you have your own publishing company and hope that soon I’ll watch Alfre Woodard as Gloria Write and Latifah as Latifah on Lifetime Movie Network. How delicious would it be to see Denzel as Houston? Maybe James Earl Jones or Bill Cosby as Uncle Joe.
Now that I’ve written a story for comments, I’ll get back to my reading. I leave you with – YOU GO GIRL!
