We’re Going to Need More Wine by Gabrielle Union

Gabrielle union is a beautiful, intelligent Black woman who grew up in a neighborhood that didn’t appreciate who she was and went into an industry that is no better. In her autobiography, she touched on racism, colorism, sexism, rape, relationships, self-confidence, success, and so much more. But she only touched.
Don’t get me wrong. It’s her book, but why write an autobiography when you are closed off. I’m not saying she had to tell all of her business, but when I read autobiographies, I usually feel closer to the author because they give more than the forest view. You get to see trees and even some of the leaves. Not with this book.
I enjoyed some of the stories she told. The content just didn’t go deep enough for an autobiography.
