Double Win
I received two early birthday gifts that I owe you all a huge thanks for. First, I won the 2014 Emma Award for Heroine of the Year for Isis Michaels from my title The Only Option. I can not express what an honor it is to have won this award.
Next up, I was just informed I’m one of the 2014 Black Pearls Magazine Literary Excellence Award honorees!
Thank you all for the continued support and pushing me to ever improve. As long as you keep reading, I’ll keep on writing.
Current Projects
I haven’t released a title since January, but don’t think I’m not writing. I’ve finished writing the first book in the Precious Jewels series and am working on the second. I’m also writing Jarvis’s story (from The Impossible Possible) and am about halfway done with his book.
Trust me. I’m writing as fast as I can, but I want to put out quality work. Thanks for hanging in there with me. I’m also writing a few other books. I plan to release something this summer. I can’t decide what. I’m thinking I want Jarvis’s story to come out next. Here’s a little sneak peek: Gina Guy’s three-year-old daughter, Tiara, witnessed a murder. Now the murderer is after the little girl. Social Services is manipulated into the picture, and Jarvis Martin, a director at the local agency, steps in to protect the Guy’s rights. Though from the first time Gina meets Jarvis, she feels she can depend on him, life has proven to her that the only person she can count on is Gina. Jarvis slowly earns her trust and love, and together they work to stop the murderer.
New to Print
I’ve started releasing my novellas (25-35,000 words) in print. The eBook is $2.99 (Kindle, ePub via Nook) and the print $3.99. I’ve noticed that Amazon often has the print on sale for $3.59. Get your copies of these great, quick reads today. They make great gifts. All three titles are from my Second Chances series, which features heroines who are over 40 years old.
If You Only Knew (I suggest reading Sons 4 Sale first)

I wish I had your writing ethic. I just always feel stuck with my writing. Trying to work on one project at a time and then that project is no longer interesting. I need an intervention, lol. Congrats on winning your awards!! Happy bday!

THANKS Kiddo and hang in there. I write on several at once. I have a short attention span. I get bored with one and move to the next then go back. 🙂
