I hope April is treating you well! The King and I are headed to Italy in a few weeks, which is why I’ll be missing the Romance Slam Jam this year. I’m really going to miss the conference. Those of you who are going, please take lots of pictures and send them to me. It’s not too late to register for the conference. If you haven’t, go for it: RSJ Registration.
Book Discussion If You Only Knew
For those of you in love with the Write family, we’ll be discussing Gloria’s story, If You Only Knew, in the Black Romance and Women’s Fiction Book Club on April 16. This is an online event, so you can pop in and out of the Facebook group when you can with your questions and comments. For those of you who haven’t read the Write Brothers series, you may want to read Sons 4 Sale first.
SONS 4 SALE (Write Brothers Series eBox Set): If Gloria Write hears “There are no good Black men…” one more time, she’ll scream. She has four sons who fit the bill and not one is married. Desperate times call for desperate action. During the course of four novels, Gloria sets out to ensure her sons marry. The eBox set includes all four Write Brother novels. The novels are also available in print and individually in eBook form. View Sons 4 Sale
If You Only Knew:
If your husband left you to raise you two’s four children on your own, then returned years later, under what circumstances would you take him back?
Things aren’t always as they seem. Gloria Write knows that better than anyone. When the love of her life left her to raise their four sons on her own, that should have been the end of their chance at a happily ever after.
Secrets, abandonment, love, betrayal, lies. When Tex Delgado sets his mind on reclaiming his wife, she fights him every step of the way, but this time he has no intention of walking away.
Multi-Author Event
For those of you who say the West Coast never has any events, here’s the perfect event for you. Mark your calendars. FYI: Keith Thomas Walker will also be attending. He confirmed after the flyer was created.
That’s it for now.
Much Joy Peace and Love
Dee
